I have worked with Andy Mac for just over two years creating an album with my band Bright Shapes. We went to Andy with some very rough recordings of a few of our songs. The album he has created is beyond anything we thought we would get. We’re very happy with the final product. Not only do we have an album with fantastic production but, throughout the recording process through Andy’s advice and supervision, each member of the band has grown significantly in our skills as musicians and songwriters. Speaking just for myself, through observing Andy’s work, processes and methods, I have a whole new perspective on song writing and have acquired many new skills in recording and producing. All of which I am now applying to creating demos of our new songs. I hope to work with Andy again in the future.

Out of a deal and out of cash it was time to go back to work. So around 1984 I started writing more material for a new album, and in 1985 signed to Atlantic Records in New York. I was proud to be personally signed by Ahmet Ertegun the founder of the company... We recorded the album at Revolution studio's in Cheadle Hulme, Nr Manchester. The Producer and Engineer was the legendary and brilliant Andy (Rocky) MacPherson still a good friend to this day. Andy also taught me a lot about studio recording techniques, programming and endurance. The album entitled simply 'Loz Netto' came out in 1986 to critical acclaim and we received good airplay from the first single 'We Touch'

'We Touch' was also featured in the Miami Vice TV show, episode 'The Noon Plane'

It's over 10 years that I'm working with Andy Mac and I can say that recording at Revolution Studio is something really serious. The atmosphere is professional and musical. This sound genius will make your tracks sound in a way you couldn't expect! Once you get into Revo you will find it hard to leave!
